Every year, the exhibition showcases the expertise and artistry of Castelli’s ceramists. The displays feature plates, vases, and glasses crafted using both traditional and contemporary clay techniques, adorned with intricate and vibrant designs. Additionally, figurines and small artistic creations depict scenes from daily life, historical characters, or mythological subjects, while home decor items such as tiles, frames, and wall panels further enrich the collection. The Castellana ceramic tradition dates back to the Renaissance and is distinguished by its glazing and hand-painted decorations, which often feature floral motifs, landscapes, and religious symbols executed with remarkable precision and detail. One of its most distinctive characteristics is the use of vivid colors like blue, green, and yellow, applied densely and harmoniously—an aesthetic hallmark of the ceramic workshops situated at the foot of Mount Camicia.
